Now ever since I can remember I been poppin' my collar

If you're a frat bro or Three Six Mafia fan, I apologize(not really) if my post has mislead you. But while you're here you might as well read the rest of this entry, you jerk! (Wait...WAIT... don't leave I need someone[excluding my mom] to read this!!!)
superfluous collars= mad chicks?? Is that the science?

B.Y.O.C
(Bring your own collar, was it obvious?  Was it UTTERLY necessary for me to explain that? Can I get on with this post already?...)
I don't know about you guys, but I am lovin' this trend. In the past the most attention I paid to the collar was the style and shape (i.e. bib, mandarin, peter pan.) Not once did it dawn on me to change the color, embellish, let alone wear a collar it on its own.
now is this Trend Forecasting or what??

Now I am an advocate of taking a few key items and stretching those bad boys into a plethora of outfits. Accessories are easy, effortless options to do so.
The best part about this trend is the versatility and accessibility of the look:

DIY:
Bedazzle, spike, stud ( I KNOW studs and spikes are ubiquitous in my world & this blog, I'm sorry that I'm not sorry!)

You can purchase these at any price,  range, typically ranging from $10, all the way up to HUNDREDS, nay THOUSANDS of dollars

Delfina Delettrez Collar Shirt Diamonds Pave Necklace ( $89,124 )

UM girlfriend, if you are whipping out 89 G's on a collar, maybe its time to sit and reflect your life and its choices...

If you are sitting there screaming at your computer, "RENEE WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE"....first I want to say
A:  Stop screaming at your computer- you're alienating yourself from the office, human life, and so forth..
B: You are absolutely correct... who am I to judge, ain't MY money...

And on that note I leave you with the gem

Give Em Hell Kid...

Hey boys & girls! Its time for everyone's favorite segment, Ballin on a Budget, today brought to you by the letter U.............U is for UNIF

DISCLAIMER: Unif is no way is sponsoring this post(*cough*jerks) BUT they are more than welcome to send some free swag my way!!!
Excuse me while I wipe the drool off of my keyboard
The minute the Christian Louboutin Rollerball Loafers we born, they immediately stepped into my heart, but regrettably NOT into my closet(where it counts the most.)
At $995 +, I wasnt rockin these bad boys anytime soon. All hope was lost, until Unif released the Hell Raiser Flats.

Get out of my dreams get onto my feet!

Staring at $159 I know it's  a budget per se...but when you're looking at the quality of product, versus a $1,000 is most definitely a steal. I was even more elated the minute I saw them in the flesh, they were absolutely dope. Now there is no doubt that the Loubs are on another level,(pay your respects children) BUT the Unif loafers standout on their own. Every time I wear them, I get beaucoupe compliments, and the ever expected (from the hetero male perspective) "Wow you can really hurt someone with those things"

Now that I think about it , a 'fashion light bulb' went off in my head( I am  thinking of a really bougie Louis Vuitton print light bulb right now.... come with me)

The world is a crazy place nowadways and a girl needs to fend for herself. Spikes are clearly an ubiquitous trend, its safe to say that fashion can be functional.
When I slip my Hellraiser Loafers on, I am serving GoGo Yubari realness!
*Renee as many times as you tell yourself you are not and will never be GoGo!
All jokes aside, you NEVER know what trouble lurks the corner. I mean, remember when Carrie got mugged??  If only those Manolos doubled as weapons of mass destruction. Kill em with kindness, psh I say kill em with STYLE.

                                                                   Until next time,

Errrrrr Mez?

I am finally breaking the Tumblr shackles that have held me down from straight up ,O.G. bloggin, and I must say it's quite daunting. But, we digress. This blog will be a collection of ramblings and photos, pertaining mostly to fashion. Away we go!

A stylist once told me the mantra is "Confidence is the best accessory", and it may sound like a cockamamie bunch of mumbo jumbo but hey, its rings some truth. I firmly believe that it truly doesn't matter how much your outfit it worth, but it's the way you pull it off and portray yourself. With years of interning on my belt, I have accumulated some GORGEOUS, (albeit EXPENSIVE) pieces of clothing, but you best believe I will stay steady hitting up Forever21 and H&M! (B-T_DUBBS... I can't stand people who turn their noses up at Forever 21/H&M etc. most of us have champagne taste on a beer budget, and there aint no shame in it!)

That being said.....(damn she wasn't kiddin about the ramblin) I present to the jury the Hermes Collier de Chien cuff....

The coveted cuff  set you back a couple racks on racks, (starts around 1 G!). Since I am not privy to that type income, I accepted the cold hard truth and spent most of my days sobbing uncontrollably.(and the academy award goes to..)

Until one fine day I was perusing Etsy and woah and behold.....dun dun dun

Now she may be the Solange version (no shade but yall know what I mean, she is NO Bey!) , she does the trick! For a mere $30, it is a super cute alternative for us ballers on a budget.

Check out da1uniqueboutique & cop a cuff!
